Why do you offer one package instead of multiple?
Because every family deserves full support. We never want a mom to feel like she has to choose between “levels” of care, so we’ve designed one package that covers it all.

When should I book my doula?
The sooner, the better! Many families choose to book their doula early in pregnancy to ensure availability and to make the most of ongoing support throughout their journey. That said, it’s never too late — if we have space on our calendar, we’re happy to walk alongside you no matter where you are in your pregnancy.

Do you attend home, hospital, and birth center births?
Yes! We support families wherever they choose to give birth.

What if I go into labor in the middle of the night?
That’s what we’re here for! We are on-call for you 24/7 from 38 weeks until your baby is born.

How do payments work?
To reserve your spot on my calendar, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required at booking. The remaining balance is divided into three $500 installments, which must be completed before the 37th week of pregnancy.

What if you can’t make it to my birth?
With our team of doulas we guarantee a backup doula will be ready to step in if needed so you’re never left unsupported.

Do I need a doula if I’ve hired a midwife?
Yes — midwives and doulas have very different roles that complement each other beautifully. Your midwife’s primary responsibility is your and your baby’s medical safety, while your doula focuses solely on your emotional, physical, and informational support. Together, we make a strong team to ensure you feel cared for, confident, and supported in every way.

Do I need a doula if my partner will be with me?
Absolutely! A doula doesn’t replace your partner — we work together as a team. Your partner knows and loves you best, while I bring knowledge, experience, and practical support to help both of you. Many partners find they feel more confident and involved when a doula is present, because they don’t have to remember everything on their own.

My family wants to help with the costs — do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer digital gift cards that loved ones can purchase to go toward your doula support. It’s a wonderful way for friends and family to invest in your birth experience and give you the gift of extra care and encouragement. You can purchase one here.
